Non-traditional Bikes;
If you know of someone who has physical challenges that make riding a traditional bike difficult, West Trails may have a bike that can get them back on the road to fitness, with low step-over bikes from Biria, or easy on the back, neck and shoulders bikes from Day6.
We've been fortunate to have customers with back problems, joint replacements, range of motion issues and amputations who we've been able help get back on bikes, sometimes with stock bikes, and sometimes with a little modification back at the machine shop. We don't guarantee we can get everybody back on a bike but we'll give it our best shot!

Hybrid Electric Bikes For health; 
For many people a bicycle is their last hope of regaining health after years of neglect or life-altering trauma. Some however are starting their quest for health at such a desperate level that even riding a bike a short distance is nearly impossible. Our pedal assist electric bicycles will amplify the pedaling effort you put into them allowing you to ride faster/farther then you could on your own, so you can enjoy cycling even as you slowly build your strength and improve your health.

Hybrid Electric Bikes For Commuting;
If your commute is just too long or too hilly to be done by bicycle or you want to keep the ride time to a minimum, an electric assist bicycle might just be your ticket to bypass the gas station on your way to work. With models starting from as low as $499 (just a few tanks of gas) it won't take long to recoup your investment in dollars, but the benefit in health and environmental impact will be huge.

Bicycles for heavy riders;
Not all cyclists are those skinny little twigs you see wrapped in bright spandex colors, or at least they don't start out that way. If you are looking to reduce your size by bicycling you need to be aware that the vast majority of stock bicycles are not going to be sturdy enough for you as you begin your quest for the new you, and most of the ones that are robust are going to put you in an awkward uncomfortable position. We have experience modifying comfortable bicycles to be safe and allow you to begin to ride toward your future.

Commuter Bikes;
If the thought of commuting by bike is appealing to you, West Trails Bicycles is the place to come to discuss your options with someone with experience. The owner bikes to work almost every day. Just the look of the commuter's from Breezer and Norco might be enough to make you want to chuck your car and arrive more simply.

Comfort Bikes;
Ride around the neighborhood or hit the paved bike path, on a bike that does not hurt to ride. The upright position of a comfort bike by Fuji, Norco, Biria, and Day6 will make riding an enjoyable form of exercise that you will be eager to repeat, not merely tolerate.

Road Bikes;
The speed and distance that can be achieved out on the open road on a nice road bike is what made the bicycle such a hit from it's conception, and has sustained it's popularity for over a century. Fuji, Norco, and Kestral bikes will take you there.

Mountain Bikes;
Enjoy the untamed contour of our planet, and the challenge of riding over it on a bike from Fuji, Breezer or on one of Norco's amazingly deep selection of Mountain bikes.

Hybrids;
All of life is a compromise. Ideally we would all have a different bike for each purpose. A Road Bike for fast/far travel, a Mountain Bike for off road challenge, a flat-bar fendered Commuter, a Fixie for fun, a decked-out Touring Bike to travel the world, a Comfort Bike to spin the bike path with the family... However, there are limitations... A Hybrid might be the right bike for your situation if you just can't justify more than one bike.

Fixies;
The "F" in Fixie stands for "Fun!" A single speed fixed gear bike (Fixie) is pure biking simplicity. Are you bored with riding loops at your favorite bike trail? Try it on a Fixie, I think the fun challenge will be a spark of refreshment in your ride time. Fuji, SE, Biria, and Norco have plenty to choose from.
 
BMX Bikes;
Verde, Norco, and SE BMX bikes will inspire young riders to push the limits of their skills... Dangerous you say? Not compared to the hazards of a life spent in front of a monitor...
